Admirals Inn in Alexandria Bay

Not worth it at all. We started with the shrimp cocktail and it had 3 prawns for $15. I mean, at least give us an even number so sharing isn't awkward! I got the crabcake BLT because it sounded interesting...it wasn't; it was small, with the whole sandwich smashed on the griddle with bacon on it that had obviously been sitting around awhile. My girlfriend got the taco salad, and the tortilla bowl was old and chewy. Our waitress disappeared at the end of the meal, so we had to hunt someone else down to pay.I know Alex Bay is a tourist trap, but go anywhere else but here.

The food was GREAT, our waitress was very gracious and kind, very good at her job. A must visit for Alex Bay💯

Great atmosphere and food

The food was not worth the price they charge. Waitress was okay. My wife and I were told we could split a meal at extra change so we did that and they didn’t even split the meal. We basically paid $3 for an extra plate. We won’t return.

I ordered a rib eye with a salad and baked potato. My wife had the fish fry with a side of pasta. This was the first time in almost 20 years I have sent back my food. The steak had a funky smell tasted like rotten garbage. The potato taked like it was cook week ago and reheated a few times. I sent it back and got the fettuccine alfredo. I get undercooked noodles and some watery white sauce that had no flavor. Sorry for $63 for my bill the owners should be ashamed. Our waitress was nice until I sent my food back. After that we only saw her for our bill.

Delicious food and good service.

HORRIBLE FOOD!!! Complete waste of money. Spent 30 dollars on a prime rib that was inedible. My boyfriend ordered the fish fry which was absolutely disgusting. One piece of advice for anyone visiting in the the area - stay away from here!

Listen, you're going to pay way too much for your food here. You don't eat here bc of the food, you eat here bc it's convenient or you just got off a boat tour.That being said, my open faced Turkey sandwhich was REALLY good. And my wife was decently pleased with her fish & chips. The atmosphere was nice, Service was good, and we ate outside in the summer sun. Except for the prices, we were pleased!

We ate here twice. The lunch choices were good, they hit the spot.. The dinner was very pricey for diner like food. The staff was super friendly.

The best place in Alex Bay. Mike makes you feel at home and treats you like a customer and a friend. Atmosphere and food is awesome.

Had found paper in my food. The steak was very bland needed to use steak sauce to eat it. The place is overpriced for the service an food.

Service was very slow, even though we were one of 5 tables. Clam chowder was bland and under cooked( potatoes were crunchy). Cost way to much for the quality. Maybe we went pn an off day

Great service, friendly staff. Good for kids as there is plenty to choose from. We choose fish and chips and it was great! Also try the chowder!

Stopped in for a beverage only. Had a very delicious margarita. The staff were extremely pleasant and courteous. Will definitely return next time to try the food, and of course, a margarita.

Not that great and way too explosive. If everything was 1/3 the price it would have been OK, just ok. The kids meal was 9 bucks for a hotdog and some fries.

Went to admiral's inn with her Corvette club. admiral's inn was very accommodating to our club the food was great and the service was wonderful. We will return on our own.

I got a wedge salad , no onions and no hair. It came with both. I ordered the coconut shrimp , cooked and with no hair. It came with the batter almost raw , and a hair. It cost 50$ for a tiny salad , 6 shrimp , 2 drinks and 2 hairs. Stay away.

Came here for the sole purpose of ordering their grilled cheese (with bacon) as I had heard so much about it from family. It was delicious. What I didn't know was that it is only on the lunch menu, but they were more than willing to make it for us once the kitchen confirmed they could.We sat outside on one of the hottest days (July 6th). While we definitely weren't chilled by any means, there is enough airflow with the fans to keep comfortable.

Excellent service and the food was very good!

Prime rib was SO fatty there was barely any meat and it was tasteless. The mashed potatoes were runny and I think instant potatoes. The beef and vegetable soup was good though, although the beef in that was very fatty as well. Wont be returning for dinner!

Went in for seafood, everything was overpriced. 3 shrimp for 15.99? I understand it’s a tourist area but come on? Service was okay friendly didn’t ask how our food was when we ate none of it and clearly didn’t seem into it. Calm chowder was pretty much water hard potatoes and some carrots. We respectfully paid for our soup and left with out ordering dinner.

This eatery in downtown Alexandria Bay offers you everything that is good when dining out. The place is cozy, the people are very friendly & courteous, the food prepared by Master chef Jerry is extremely tasty. The portions are always very generous as well. Do yourself a favor & skip every other resturant & just GO THERE!!!

The service was quick and friendly, the salads my wife and I ordered fresh, served in fresh tortilla bowls. Clean bathroom. The prices were higher than average for the food provided for no discernible reason. Prices were lower for comparable food within a few blocks. The exceptionally clean bathrooms and friendly service may be worth stopping for despite the bizarrely high prices.

We dined outside. It was worth the mosquito bite to my ankles. This seasonal restaurant has stiff competition. Our wait staff was warm , welcoming, attentive, and informative. The food was excellent. We were seated promptly. I would return to this restaurant.

The prices are high, and small portions.The waiters work there tails off Mike so called boss treats his staff like slaves, I didn’t see any staff on breaks never will I eat here again

Beautiful place on Lake Ontario in Alexandria Bay NY. Nice restaurant with a nice menu. Family friendly service and good service. It was very nice Dinner and Music

It was a very nice place to eat & there prices were very reasonable. & there staff were second to none.

Went in to get fries for the kids, plenty of tables. Got seated. Ordered fries and onion rings and got asked to leave because we weren’t ordering full meals. Never again will I step into that establishment.

Good food, nice patio

There burger I ordered was essentially a McDonald's burger with extra grease. When biting into it oozed hot grease and burned my hand. This cost me 13.50 for the burger and they price gouge a fountain soda 3.50

The food was good but perhaps a bit pricey for what you get, We stopped here for a latte lunch, family of 6, including 4 kids. We ate on the front patio area. Friendly service

Love Love Love the staff here!!! All you fellow parents that have a child with a severe food allergy...this place will serve you!!!! We have struggled finding places for my daughter to eat in Alex Bay due to her peanut allergy. Many places have turned her away!! They were willing to serve us and did it so graciously. Thank you so much for making my daughter's day!!!!

Plain bad stay away. Server was nice but food was disappointing to say the least. Walleye 28 bucks was size of perch and greasy. To bad as server was nice

I went on pirates weekend and the prices had jumped. Other than that it was excellent.
